Why does TITUS focus on national Christian workers?
#24-Focusing on national Christian workers creates a scriptural mindset between national and foreign missionaries.Read More
Dear Friend,
This Saturday I'll be traveling to Manchester, NH, together with my son Silas. In the next several days we'll be in various churches, and in a couple of schools. My purpose, as before, is to help the homeless children of India—a country made of 1.2 billion people. We now have fifty kids in our home near Bangalore, India.
Attached is my itinerary. Please pray for safety as we travel in the severe weather of the North East. Also, please pray for good success. Attached is a recent picture of myself with Titus, Silas, and Lukas.
Wishing you God's best,
Brent E. Parschauer
Titus International Representative

Dear Friends,
This year has been full of heights and depths; full of the drama a good teacher uses to teach.
As for heights, in July Brent preached at a youth camp from the very pulpit his father used years ago. Afterwards, Silas performed on a Grand Piano and the crowd, all teenagers, erupted in applause: a high moment for father and son. In March Brent attended Bobby's installation service. Through the years Brent and Bobby biked to school together, ran miles-literally- in many a soccer match, hiked and skied the Alps, traveled Europe singing in a quartet, and attended Bible School together. Only one year apart, they are close. Being the older brother, the service was a thrill for Brent.
The depths, of course, were just as real; particularly Natalie's sudden death in June. The sorrow Brent's sister experienced was like a raging fire, then smoke, then ashes and desolation- it was the hot, haunting, lonely, and lingering sorrow of a broken heart. In the midst of her pain we were wise enough to remain silent- unlike Job's older friends years ago. Natalie was only seventeen.
As usual Shell has been a wonderful helpmate teaching at home, purchasing groceries within budget, coordinating calendars, being a good friend. This year she used library material to enhance her curriculum, otherwise narrow in scope. One unit study was about the Punic Wars in which Hannibal had the courage to cross the Alps with elephants, badgering the Roman Empire; another was about the Mid-evil Ages, with a focus on the Bubonic Plague. This year TITUS (13) read 44 books, totaling 9,389 pages; Silas (11) read 94 books, totaling 19,444 pages. As a family we read 211 books to Lukas (5). No doubt, he will also be a reader.
As for Titus International: our missionaries are meeting genuine needs. This year, in India, Daniel Bahndari registered a school for his orphans; in Austria Daniel Kistenich and his church helped many a refugee; in the Ukraine Masato dedicated a facility he built for his growing church. Three couples completed deputation this year, moving overseas.
At home, Brent created four separate itineraries this year, personally speaking in all of the meetings. The proceeds from all four itineraries were allocated to help our orphans in India. Amidst his travels Brent finished writing his book, as planned. The book is entitled: The Lost Path (Making Contentment a Way of Life). He brought it to the printer on December 13.
We wish you a fun-filled, happy, and very MERRY CHRISTMAS.
In Love,
Brent and Shell
